  8. K-Tel's "Superstars Greatest Hits" is a three disc comp (all sold separately) that is the ONLY release in the K-tel "Classic Reissue Series" to exactly duplicate the track listing of the original vinyl release (originally a two-record set, sold together initially, later as individual records) with only one exception: "Rocket Man" by Elton John has been replaced by "Be Thankful For What You Got /5(4).
  9. The Gold anthology series delivers a practically unimpeachable collection of classic rock tunes. Disc 1 covers the late 60s through the mid-seventies. Disc 2 goes to the early eighties. I liked the variety in this collection - straight ahead rock and roll, hard rock, progressive rock, new wave, and glam metal/5().
